Built from the
street up.
YelloRide began with a simple observation: urban mobility across our cities was broken for the two groups of people who matter most — riders and drivers.
A little
context.
From pilot operations to a nationwide movement connecting thousands of riders and drivers across Nigeria every day.
A question born in standstill traffic
Stuck in urban gridlock and unpredictable surge prices, our founders asked: why does moving across our cities have to feel so exhausting and unpredictable? What if pricing was honest and drivers were treated as true partners?
Two cars, one bold promise
We hit the pavement with our first pilot vehicles. We tested the flat-fee driver subscription model, proving drivers earn significantly more when companies stop gouging commissions.
Thousands moving forward together
Across commercial corridors and everyday neighborhoods, thousands of riders trust YelloRide every single day. We are expanding across all 36 states and the FCT, bringing dignity and reliability to everyday transit.
“We are not just building a ride app. We are building a better relationship with the city.”— Tobi Akinwale, co-founder
